I was recently supplied some Dennett data by Armistead Dennett that filled in some holes and allowed me to connect myself back to the two brothers John Dennett and Alexander Dennett who came to Portsmouth, New Hampshire in the mid 1600. Previous to that, my line stopped with my great-great-great grandparents, Winburn Dennett and Sarah Frost. Since I do not have copies yet of vital records, I cannot vouch for the authenticity of a lot of this data. Much of it has been generously given to be by others.
Another line that may be of interest is my Whitney line. My mother's maiden name is Whitney and I can go back to my great-great-great-grandfather, John Dudley Whitney. There is quite an extensive collection of Whitney genealogy both on the web and in print.
There is also quite a collection of surnames. Many have very little, if any, information.
