I cant recall what I may have told you last time we swapped e-mails, but my
present assessment is:

Winburn Russell Dennett b 1 nov 1824, m Marsha Durgin 7 apr 1849 (not 8
jul 1831) in S Berwick.

Winburn Russell

his grfa John Dennett, b---prob 1776, d. abt 1816, m. Joanna Morrill, had
ch: William, Winburn, Pandora.

his grgrfa John Dennett b 15mar 1738, d 26 oct 1797, m. Abigail Carter of Dover

his grgrgrfa John Dennett b 22 dec 1708, d 26 Oct 1797 m 1) abt 1730 Mary
Tetherly, m 2) Wid Sarah Weymouth Baver

his grgrgrgrfa John Dennett b 15 Dec 1675 d 18 nov 1742 m 5 feb 1701 Mary
Adams Shapleigh

his grgrgrgrgrfa was John Dennet, immigrant fm England to Portsmouth NH abt
1660-1670

This is mainely from data assembled by Winfield Scott Dennett and Alexander
Dennett abt 1890-1913. My file has 57 John Dennetts. Note that two of
them, above, have same date of death.

A litatle more real research in Maine birth and marriage records would be
welcome.

The weak link in the line I gave you is this guy:

All that Winfield said about him is:

"John - son of John & Abigail (Carter) b. ___1776 probably. d, ___1816.
Children - William- Winburne (or Winborn) & Pandora."

And I cannot find now where the reference to Joanna Morrill originated.

Pandora b. 11 jul 1806, m. Isaiah Chadbourne 23 Dec 1822 in Berwick and
d. 6 mar 1836.

I have not tried to publish the Dennett files I have, because most of the
info is not documented. Much of it I have full confidence in, but not all,
as example above.
